In the back of my new book, Still, there is a barcode that will connect you to some guided Christian meditations. When it comes to meditating, it takes a minute to become familiar and comfortable with the practice. When I first started practicing mindfulness and meditating as part of my morning routine, just like anything else, I had to work it into my schedule. I knew how to turn my physical body off for a certain amount of time, but I didn’t know how to turn mind off. This is where guided meditations helped me. I would put some headphones, get in a comfortable position, close my eyes, and follow the guided instructions. Even five minutes made such a difference. Like reading any kind of worldly self help book, I had to filter out the false teachings and mentally write in the truths so that my meditation could be complete and the glory went to the Creator. I really believe that this is why God put it on my heart to create these guided Christian meditations to be available to those striving to keep their minds shielded from worldly conformation.
I’ve got these core meditations broken down into sections: Meditation for Peace, Meditation for Understanding, Meditation for Strength, Meditation for Success, and Meditation for Anxiety/Health. I plan to continue to add meditations as my ministry continues. They are currently on the Spotify platform and shouldn’t cost you anything to listen to them. Hopefully, I can make them available via other audio apps soon.
